Considerations
My, but there has been a lapse since I last posted thought to BEWell Bohemia. I have, in the previous 3 months, been completely out of the rhythms I established. Yes, the switch in syncopation synchronized with a shift in season and semester. The reasons rest deeper than the shift, however. Travel, mood, stress, home environment details all impacted the syncopation too. The lack of regular rhythm caused (or is a sign, I am unsure of the relationship) an overall 'offness' in my psyche, nee world.
So, I am finally setting aside time to write, and thereby consider, the implication of syncopation. I doubt my ability to do more, to work longer, to craft oftener, to ride further, to cook, to walk, to write, to.... do more. Rather I sort of sit in slump and await energy.
Yes, I know, inverse approach! The whole principal of potential versus kinetic, and maybe, finally my potential energy has reached critical mass and will shift to kinetic. Not that 'activity' is the answer. I need do more introspection, reside in more nothing. Meditation, yoga, contemplation... I include that in the kinetic of which I refer.
With this post, I vow to celebrate ritual as the foundation of my next rhythm. I will not be overly intentional with my rhythm, nor will I 'await' energy. I will 'do' with the energy I have, and move in peace at the pace I set - allow a rhythm, or more accurately, a collection of harmonious and various rhythms to be my wellness.
