Developing the "feel good" list

Dax Shepard in his podcast 'Armchair Expert' states that he has a checklist that he reviews when he is feeling negative. He will ask himself, "Have I worked out? Have I called someone for a convo? Have I gone for a walk?"

I find that philosophy inspiring. Yes, I need a list. When I do yoga in the morning, go for a walk, talk with my sister, go for a hike, or go for a run - I always feel better. Always. So I make the checklist:

  • yoga session
  • walk n' talk with Jaye
  • hike in nature
  • walk 2 miles
  • go for a 30 min run *plus warm-up and cool-down yoga*

When I persistently do the things, day in week out, month in and out I feel so much more healthy, vibrant, and good about myself and life.
