By the sound of insects at dusk

Whistle like chirrups compete with the ever present drone of vehicles. The greying blue sky sharply contrasts the oak branch silohettes. Summer dusk is a glorious moment of sight, sound, smell and feel.  The light breeze caresses exposed skin.  I am in love with summer.

I spent hours reclining in the yard reading at times, or just watching birds glide across the blue sky between the trees and buildings. I allowed the sun to bask my face, smiling at the light evident through closed eyelids.

Oh to have these moments.
