Yay for a good read
I am a newly connected member of the Good Reads online community, and am enjoying my experience. I am currently trying to recall every book I have read in my life, and add it to my 'bookshelves'. The compulsive lister in me finds great satisfaction in each entry.
I joined the 2016 Reading Challenge... so now am especially focused on recording the books I read this past 11 month. I challenged myself to 48 books, because I thought surely 4 books of month is a challenging yet acheiveablle goal... only I have not written down the books I read this year in my paper 'What I read' book. (Actually I filled up my What I read journal early in the year and failed to replace it with an inspiring replacement - hence the lack of list...)
Meanwhile, as I try to think about the former months reading activity, I am posting many a former read - some of my favorite authors (like L.M. Montgomery and Barbara Kingsolver), favorite books from childhood (like Lord of the Rings and the Swiftly Tilting Planet series), and favorite philosophical reads (like Simone de Beavoir and Clarissa Pinkola Estes).
What biblophile does not enjoy a glorious wander among titles...
I also am thoroughly enjoying my role as an Author on Goodreads, answering questions, promoting the giveaway (enter to win a trade paperback copy of Wren & Ignacio!)
I love connecting with other readers... hello all!!!!
