Tolerance... and compassion in human interaction
We, each of us, make a difference in the lives of people around us.
Responding to requests with compassion and kindness can really make someone feel better.
I recently was reminded of this through an email correspondence. I was able to bring a tiny moment of kindness into someone's day, a day that was otherwise 'awful'.
A few sentences, typed with care and compassion, expressing tolerance.
It is easy to forget that everyone is navigating challenge - that what we see of them is such a small excerpt of their day to day life.
Civility is such a valuable social asset. Civility - the care and concern for others.
