A satisfying sound
Made as my middle finger slides along the third string
Of the guitar

My progress steady, slow,
Noticeable increments each day
Song sections smoothly played
Finger placement swift and accurate


Intermingled with foibles, fumbles,
And fudged notes

Still, I am proud of myself
Dedicated to teaching (remembering from when Nate taught me years ago) how to play guitar.
