Sunday morning reflection

Today is a peaceful Sunday at home.  We, my fellow and I, our darling cats and cheerful budiges, share the space in harmony and tranquility.  We feel no rush to accomplish tasks, no demands to run errands, or responsibilities nagging on our time.  For the first time in a long time we are content to be, here, now.
The cats lounge on tables, window ledges, couch arms, and the computer desk by turns - always wanting to be near either A or B (me).  The birds call and sing and chatter while playing together on their natural branch perches. (I removed all the plastic artificially constructed perches and replaced them with found branches of varying widths, or braided natural twine.)

A reads the book I wrote, recently finished in first rendition form - meaning after my few test readers finish it, I will make corrections and revisions then reprint for "published" work.  Be sure I will make mention of the accomplishment on my blog.

i am very pleased with the book overall; the first half most especially.  I will only need to make corrections of typographical and minor grammatical errors in that section.  The second half of the book, however, needs major revisions.   I find it disjointed or lacking in development.  None of my test readers have agreed with perspective, they seem to find the second half fine.  I think the text moves to swiftly and leaves out backstory,  thought processes, insights and depth of experience.  I will spend time this fall remedying.  My goal is to finish revisions by October so I can begin the next book for Nanowrimo in November (National Novel Writing Month).

Goals for the upcoming week include:
Cooking: make home made GF / DF muffins with a crumble top
find a blender so I can mkae homemade DF cheese
plan food for the upcoming 4 day trip to Tennessee

                Gardening:
                            plant late crops
                            plan hoop house
begin gathering materials to prep garden for fall frosts

                 Knitting / Crochet:
make gifts for upcoming wedding we are going to in TN
                                    jewelry for bride gift
                                    hat for groom gift
jewelry for mother / sister of bride gift

start linen top on size 5 circ (after buying size 5 circ)
                           finish Coachella tank top
choose yarn for cardi for over new vintage dress (bought at Hill Vintage & Knit)

               Sewing:
put handle on bag made of coffee bag burlap
make bag gift for bride, mother  & sister of bride (maybe)

Wow, typing it all makes the list look ambitious.  Add to the mix work starts back up Monday (staff meeting / training) and I still need to make all syllabi and send to copy center before classes begin Thurs.  Time to get to it!
