September morning
I am refreshed and enlivened by the brisk September morning breeze. Fall follows summer in a wonderful cycle. I enjoy summer, and I thrill to the shift to autumn.
I will make some final harvests of catnip, thyme and holy basil to put-up for future use. I also plan on transitioning my plants to indoors, those that will winter inside. The evening temps drop to the 50's now, and soon even lower.
I will also plant some seeds for radish and some cool tolerant plants - collard, kale... they may not sprout, but if they do I get I more crop of young greens.
The cats seem equally thrilled by the shift of breeze and scents - they are friskier.
